Absolutely LOVE it. Amazing solid quality. Well designed and love the functionality. Generous size can last to adult

Looks great!

Hoping to get plenty of use from this desk. Set up was relatively easy and looks great!! My only gripe is that it does not match the height of the storage unit exactly.

Love the Nala desk

Love love love the Nala desk - it will grow with my 5 year old, all the way to high school. Love that it has the easel, drawers and with the storage unit - extended the length.

Fantastic

This desk is such good quality, looks great and my son loves it. The built in easel is really easy to use and adjust.

An excellent study desk for VCE

We've just put together this excellent My Duckling Easel Desk for our daughter going into VCE and will be doing Art and Vis Comm, so this will be so flexible for all her study needs. It's a very well designed piece of furniture, and so easy to put together. The best part is, the drawers are already assembled, so all the tricky bits are done for you. Quick delivery and great service. Many thanks.

Excellent quality and design

I bought the study table and study chair for my daughter. The solid wood quality are excellent, and design is so good for both study, reading and even painting.
My daughter love to set on her new study table and chair for her reading and painting.

Frequently Asked Questions

See all FAQs

What can my child store at the desk?

Two drawers, one large and one small, keep books, tablets and art supplies sorted. A magnetic bar clips onto the top to hold clipped paper, a book or a tablet, and side hooks with two pegs hang a school bag. There is also a cable notch to route charging leads out of the way.

What is the NALA Pro Study Desk with Easel?

It is a solid wood children's desk with a tilting top that switches between a flat writing surface and a raised easel. The top locks at four angles, so your child can write, read or paint at the same desk. It sits within our kids table and chairs range.

What are the four tilt angles for?

The desktop locks at 10, 15, 25 and 35 degrees. Flat at 10 suits building and puzzles, 15 helps with writing, 25 eases glare while reading, and 35 props the top upright for painting and drawing. A turn of the wooden calliper mechanism sets each angle and holds it steady.

How does the tilting top stay safe for small children?

The tilt runs on a non-pneumatic wooden calliper rather than a gas spring, so it settles gently and will not snap shut on fingers. Each angle clicks firmly into place before use. The corners are rounded and the whole frame is solid wood with a clear, non-toxic varnish. Adults should set the angle for younger children.

What age is the NALA Pro Desk suited to?

The desk works well from around three years through the early school years and beyond. At 1120 mm long and 690 mm wide, it gives an older child room to spread out books and paper, while the tilting top keeps younger ones comfortable for drawing and reading.

What is the movable L-shaped rack for?

The desk comes with a movable L-shaped rack. Fit it horizontally for an extra shelf above the desktop, or turn it upright to free the space beneath for longer projects. It lets you change the layout as your child's needs shift through the school years.

Does the desk come with a chair?

The desk is sold on its own, so you can match it with a seat that fits. The KAYA Adjustable Chair rises through four heights to suit the desktop, and the roomier KAYA Adjustable Chair Large suits taller children who need a wider seat.

How do I keep the desk clean?

Wipe the top and drawers with a soft, damp cloth, then dry them off. Skip harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners and heavy moisture, since these can mark the varnish over time. The desk is for indoor use, so keep it out of rain and away from persistent damp.

Is the desk hard to assemble?

What can my child do at this desk?

One minute it is a writing desk for homework and handwriting, the next it tilts up as an easel for painting. Reading sits at an easy angle in between. With drawers, hooks and a magnetic bar close by, it gives your child a tidy corner of their own for study and art.
