LOLA Adjustable Learning Tower

A magnetic board fixes to the rear of the tower, giving your child a surface to draw on, write letters, or arrange magnets. Because it sits on the back, one child can cook at the bench while another draws from behind. Lift it off when you would rather keep the tower plain.

It is one of the lighter towers in the range, at 5 to 6 kg, so you can shift it between the bench and the sink without much effort. The plywood build keeps it sturdy while staying easy to move, and a magnetic drawing board on the back turns it into a drawing spot when cooking is over.

The board sits at either 472.5 mm or 367.5 mm from the floor. Set it high while your child is small, then move it down as they gain height so the bench stays within easy reach. The 395 by 397 mm platform is close to square, giving steady room for both feet.

The base does the work here. Four removable side stabilisers spread the footprint wider, and a rear support panel adds backing so the tower resists rocking while your child stands and reaches.

Two removable safety rails sit behind your child, and both are recommended for children under 100 cm. The plywood has rounded corners to soften bumps and a non-toxic, water-base paint with no BPA or lead. The frame holds up to 100 kg.

Around 12 months is a common starting point, once a toddler can stand and hold on, and it stays useful to about 6 years. For the youngest users, fit both safety rails and stay within arm's reach. Let your child climb in and out themselves once they are steady, as that builds confidence.

Plywood is layered and glued for strength, so despite the lighter 5 to 6 kg body the LOLA holds up to 100 kg. It copes well with a toddler leaning, wriggling, and climbing in and out. Use it with one child at a time, and check the joints stay firm every so often.

Wipe spills with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry the surface so moisture does not soak into the plywood. Keep it away from standing water and skip abrasive cleaners, since the water-base paint stays smooth when treated gently. Store it in an airy spot rather than under a cover.
