Pikler Triangles

A Pikler triangle is a child development climbing structure frame that encourages kids to climb and play in a safe environment. Most of our My Duckling pikler triangle is made of wood with hard wax oil, which consists of three poles connected at the top to form a triangular frame, with a series of rungs or steps attached to the poles for the child to climb on.

The Pikler triangle is designed to help children develop gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and confidence through climbing and play. It is named after Emmi Pikler, a Hungarian pediatrician who developed the concept in the 1930s to encourage child-led, self-directed play and learning.
